To speed up the process, you should park the freshly wrapped vehicle in a heated hall (at least 15°C) for at least 24 hours.
Three days after application, the vinyl has reached its full adhesion. After that, you can safely wash your vehicle in a car wash. However, you should avoid strong mechanical stress for the first 14 days. If possible, park your vehicle in a garage or a sheltered location.
For cleaning your labeled vehicle, use mild cleaning agents and warm water. Avoid aggressive chemicals such as acetone or gasoline, as they can damage the vinyl. When using a pressure washer, maintain a minimum distance of 50 centimeters from the vinyl to prevent peeling or damage.
To extend the lifespan of your vehicle graphics, you should protect the vehicle from extreme weather conditions whenever possible. Ideally, park your vehicle in a garage or under a carport to protect it from intense sunlight, hail, or heavy rain. Additionally, aggressive substances such as bird droppings or tree sap should be removed promptly and carefully to prevent damage to the vinyl.
During the first 14 days after application, the vinyl should not be exposed to mechanical stress. Therefore, avoid polishing the vehicle or using ice scrapers on wrapped windows. Instead, use the rear window defroster to remove ice and avoid polishes that contain wax, silicone, or Teflon.
By following these care instructions, you can significantly extend the lifespan and appearance of your vehicle graphics. Proper maintenance ensures that your mobile advertising always looks its best and remains effective in the long run.
